Check it yourself: open your browser’s developer tools, select the Network tab and use the tool. Your file never appears in an upload request. Once this page is saved for offline use, you can also disconnect from the internet and keep working. Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the two encode modes?
Component mode (encodeURIComponent) encodes every reserved character, which is right for a single parameter value. Full-URL mode (encodeURI) leaves the characters that structure a URL alone.
Why do spaces sometimes become +?
HTML forms encode spaces as + in query strings. Decoding here treats + as a space when the “form encoding” option is on.
