Open Graph Preview
When you share a link on Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp or Slack, the app reads Open Graph tags to build a card. Enter your values (or paste your page’s <head> HTML) to preview a generic card and catch missing images or overly long text before you publish.
Runs entirely in your browser. Your input and files are not uploaded to any server.
How to use
- Enter title, description, URL and an image (URL or local file), or paste existing HTML and press Read tags.
- Review the preview and the warnings.
- Copy the og: tags into your page.
Examples
Check that the 1200 × 630 image is not cropped awkwardly before the announcement.
Paste the page source to see which og: tags are missing.

Frequently asked questions
Does this fetch my live page?
No. Browsers block reading other sites’ HTML from a web page, and we do not use a server. Paste the HTML or type the values yourself. If you enter an image URL, your browser loads that image directly to display it.
What image size works best?
1200 × 630 pixels (about 1.91:1) is widely recommended. Keep important content away from the edges because some apps crop to a square.
Is this exactly what Facebook shows?
No. It is a neutral approximation. Each platform styles and truncates cards differently and changes them over time.
