Social Post Preview

Most feeds show only the first part of a caption before “more”. This preview helps you check that the hook lands in the visible part. It is a generic layout — not a copy of any app — and the cut-off points are editable estimates.

Optional image
Approximate preview. Real apps truncate by lines and screen width too.

Runs entirely in your browser. Your input and files are not uploaded to any server.

How to use

  1. Write the caption and optionally add an image.
  2. Choose a platform preset or a custom cut-off.
  3. Make sure the key message appears before “…more”.

Examples

Instagram

About the first 125 characters appear before the caption is truncated.

LinkedIn

Roughly the first 210 characters (or 3 lines) appear before “…see more”.

Frequently asked questions

How accurate is the cut-off?

It is an estimate. Apps truncate by lines and screen width as well as characters, and they change the rules. Use it to keep your hook short, not as an exact measurement.

Is my image uploaded?

No. The image is shown from your device using a temporary local URL.
