Add Watermark to PDF
Stamp “CONFIDENTIAL”, “DRAFT” or your logo on every page of a PDF. The file is changed on your device and never sent to a server, and there is no daily limit or watermark of ours.
Runs entirely in your browser. Your input and files are not uploaded to any server.
How to use
- Open your PDF.
- Choose a text or a picture watermark. For text, type the words and pick a colour.
- Set the size, the angle and how see-through it is, then choose one position or repeat it over the whole page.
- Choose the pages (all, odd, even or a list such as 1,3-5), press “Add watermark” and download the result.
Examples
Type DRAFT, keep the diagonal angle and an opacity of about 25%, and repeat it across the page so it cannot be cropped out.
Choose “Picture”, upload your logo, set the angle to 0°, pick a corner and lower the opacity so the page stays readable.
Choose “Selected pages”, enter the page numbers such as 2,5-7, and only those pages get the watermark.

Check it yourself: open your browser’s developer tools, select the Network tab and use the tool. Your file never appears in an upload request. Once this page is saved for offline use, you can also disconnect from the internet and keep working. Ads and anonymous visit statistics, when enabled, make their own requests, but they never receive your files or text.
Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The PDF is read and changed inside this page. You can open your browser’s Network tab while you work to confirm that no file is sent anywhere.
Can someone remove the watermark?
Often, yes. The watermark is a picture placed on top of each page, so a person with a PDF editor can delete or cover it, especially if it is faint. It discourages casual reuse and shows where a copy came from, but it is not protection. For sensitive documents, share them through a secure channel instead.
Does it work with Arabic and other languages?
Yes. The text is drawn as a picture using fonts on your device, so Arabic, Chinese, Cyrillic and other scripts work. The watermark text is not selectable or searchable in the PDF.
Can the watermark go behind the page content?
Not yet. It is always placed on top of the page, so use a lower opacity if you want the page text to stay easy to read.
Will the file get much bigger?
Usually only slightly. The watermark picture is stored once and reused on every page.
Why can’t I open my PDF?
Password-protected PDFs cannot be opened. Remove the protection in the program that created the file. Damaged files and files over 200 MB are also refused.
